Company history and where it all began...

Taken under his wing as a fledgling decorator in 1980 by then President of American Christmas Decorating Kenneth W. Simpson, Richard J. Coniglio cut his teeth on major accounts in New York City such as the New York Stock Exchange, Pfizer Fountain and AT&T National Headquarters. After acquiring a small display company that had been supplying mechanical figures for American Christmas, Display Arts Worldwide was born. Ken Simpson transformed several of these mechanical figures into retail items that took the industry by storm. As National Sales Manager of Display Arts Worldwide, Richard J. Coniglio managed a network of national and international representatives as well as assisting in both production and design.
Unfortunately, after stellar growth, the S&L crisis of the late 1980's created a liquidity crisis with the banks which brought the company down. Moving to Florida, with Christmas still in his blood, Richard J. Coniglio launched Christmas Consultants International, Inc. And unlike others who are limited to certain areas of the state, we've been professionally decorating the entire state of Florida for more than 30 years with over 40 years in the industry!
